Turning 22 today! To tell the truth, I don’t feel excited by it. I’m actually dreading it....

Celebrating my birthday on 22/9/04 by going with Yanyi, Celine and Shirly to Mushroom Pot. It was quite funny because I went earlier to check out where is the exact location of the ushrrom pot. I remember the restaurant venue to be in Orchard Plaza. Went there and asked the lady at the information booth. i asked her whether is there mushroom pot located over there. She said nope and said it might be located at somewhere else. I got abit frustrated but she oered solutions to me by asking me to check in yellow pages. I did and Bingo! Saw their outlet. As it reflected the full address, I asked her where is 140 Orchard Rd? She said is located at the new OG store. I went in search and finally saw the restaurant! It looked abit odd to find a restaurant located at a corner in the departmental store. I was looking at their promotional stand and saw that Woman’s Weekly readers have 25% discount voucher for the steamboat. I quickly called up to Yanyi and asked her to purchase the Woman’s Weekly.

When Yanyi arrived and showed me the magazine, I was quite shocked. It was because the promotion was on the previous month of magazine! Sucks!

Anyway, it ends up I’m the only one eating the steamboat so it doesn’t matter anyway.

After dinner at Mushroom Pot, we chit chat in the toilet for a while and I went to meet Eric to pass him his stuff. When I told him my birthday is tomorrow, he said really? He thought is 21 sep all along... I was a bit unhappy... wah lau.. this kind of friend oso got.. never bothered to remember my birthday and yet I remember his birthday.

After meeting him, we headed to hail a cab but to no avail. We were thirsty and stopped by at Killiney’s Kopitiam to have drinks. W chatted til around 11.30pm where the coffeshop lady came and told us they are closing shop then we decided to head for clubbing. We were pondering whether to go zouk or Double O. We finally decided on going to Double O because  we have free drinks over there. When we reach there, the music theme was hip hop and we went to have 2 glasses of alcoholic rinks each. Saw christina’s bartender friend serving us and he doesn’t seem to recognise me. Also saw Jamie (Callie’s good friend) I asked her about Callie and she said she very seldom keep in contact with her. Yanyi got tipsy and she nearly fainted in toliet. Celine & I  were sensed something a miss when she was in the toliet for very long. When we decided to make our way out to let her sit and rest, she can’t make it and we near up sitting in the lounge area. The waiter was sweet enough to pour plain water dipped with a slice of lemon and offered to Yanyi. She regained her conscious after a while and we headed back to the dance floor

Have a minor fight with one of ah lian gal in the dance floor. Yanyi and me were dancing in the platform and a group of girls came up to dance got a very irritating girl keep on pushing and invading our private space. Yanyi got so fed up that she moved to another area while I keep on dancing. I purposely pushed back my hands abit and the girl pushed me back. I got some fed up that we keep pushing each other and nearly got into a fight.  remembered she was pushing me and I got so fed up that I’m being held away by Celine and that crazy gal also being held away by her group of friends that I pushed a plump girl in green although she meant out of good will to separated both that bitch and me. I think the bitch saw and she tried to rush over and kicked me, I was fed up that I couldn’t kick her back that I pointed third finger at her twice. I think her male friends tried to stop the fight by separating us. I don’t really wanna fight with that ah lian. Feel so childish but I just don’t like people to push me. I can be damn bitchy if I want to.

I think I saw that group again when I walked pass them to the toliet, I purposely placed a finger into my ear while passing by them and doesn’t even wanna take a look at them.

We left that place and we went to Zouk. We had to walked quitea bit and we 3 with no sense of direction just explore and find Zouk venue using our gut feeling. It was so much more happening and fun. We danced all the way til it ends at 3pm. We went out and was shocked to see so many people queuing up for cab. We joined in the taxi queue and reached Yanyi’s house. We chat abit and bathe and we all three chatted til fall asleep. I awoke at around 8.30am to sms Aslena to let Mani know I’m taking urgent half day leave. I don’t feel like going to work and plus I’m so tired till clubbing so late last night.

She sms back asking me to call Boss to let him know personally. I called Boss at 9.10am and he asked me why am I taking half day urgent leave. I told him I need to settle my house thing and he said ok immediately.

Sleep a while more til around 11.30am. Celine and Yanyi awake around that time. We were discusiing whatto have for breakfast and decided to have ordered Macdonald lunch. The operator told us that it will takes 45minutes to be delieverd to her house andwe decided to go down to have Macdonald lunch. Chatted till 1.30pm while I headed into a cab to go work.

When I arrived in office, Mani, Janet and Ann gave me birthday wishes. Janet, Kelvin, Audrey and Carol gave birthday present of bathe towel to me. Haha... I got another surprise. At 2pm, I receiveda bouquet of roses. I thought it was some admirer of mine. Ha, found out that it wa Maria, Kelvin Chow, Bee and ahling who send the bouquet to me. Got such a surprise.

The days passed quite slowly. Had staff meeting and soon is 6pm. Time to knock off. Been staying in office while typing this. Don’t feel really good about it. Just called Shiryee up and found out that she is not meeting me. Feel quite lonely right now.

Managed to meet up with Aloysius for dinner at Cafe Cartel. I told him it is my birthday today and he gives me a treat of my pan-fried sphagetti plus my brownie dessert. We chatted quite a lot and I found he is quite an interesting guy. But I'm not interested in him.. I don't know why but I find that he is not suitable for me... he seems quite matured for me and i'm afraid i cannot handle these type of guys like him... i guess he can sensed and see from my actions that I'm very childish in nature....... anyway I'm childish and that's me! I'm not afraid of showing it to him... I think i justy want to be good friend with him thats all....

Just came back from facial at Image Esthetics. Using the free coupon that shiryee given me. Finally! I think i suffer quite a 'few bumps' wanting to go for their free facial. Firstly, shiryee given me wrong address, secondly, I nearly went to the wrong place again! The coupon stated their building is in Peninsula Shopping Centre. I thought is Peninsula Plaza and went to the ladies, dilly dally for a while until I'm stunned to see their shop was not there! I quickly did a search and realise I went to the wrong place. I quicly exit the place and go around asking the people. I got so frustrated that I made a call and a lady picked up. She directed me on the directions. I guessed I must have sounded a little harsh.

I reached the place and was amazed by the environment. The place seems posh. It has mini waterfall at the side and the whole place was furnished with carpet. The lady asked me to take a seat and explained what she is going to do for my face. I did a small survey and she explain that she recommend me to take up their deep cleansing facial for $38. She further explained as I haven't been going to facial for 4 months already. I should try deep cleansing treatments to get rid all my bumps and blackheads. I agreed and was thinking to myself... I knew it coming... there are no free things in the world! It is just one of the tactic to earn money.

I changed into a peachy bathrobe and lie on the bed. Another lady came in and helped me to cover my body with blankets, wrap my head with towels etc. The lady who served me earlier came and she did the whole process for me. It includes eye massage, neck massage etc. It was quite worthwhile. While doing the extractions for me, she told me I have not been drinking enough water plus I'm not cleansing and removing my makeup completely hence results in bumps all over my face. I knew I haven't been drinking enough water. Been feeling thirsty very often.

After the whole treatment, it was almost 9pm. The whole facial lasted around 90 minutes. As usual, she persuaded me to sign up packages with them, purchase their products etc. I had to find plenty of excuses to push it off... I really quite broke plus I simply have too much products to use.. I'm not willing to spend my money anymore on skincare products at the moment.

It was quite a good experience and I might consider going back when I had enough $$.

All alone in office today. Audrey and Kelvin are both not around. Feel great coz there is no one around and I don't have to feel conscious while making calls to external party.

Have lunch with Janet & Mani and after that, feel sleepy that I almost fall asleep. When Janet iterrupted me to hand registration forms for our events to me, she can sense that I have been sleeping secretly.

After a long day at work, went to Novena to return the long overdue VCDs. Went for driving lesson straight away. Been abit disappointed that I never see my driving instructor Mr Tay.

19/9/04

Woke up abit earlier. It is usual for me to wake up early on sunday. I purposely did that as I'm afraid brother will go out early and hence I have to walk bloody 20 minutes out to the nearby bus stop. My brother emerged out of this room after I had prepared myself and we went to have lunch at near Golden Mile Complex. Ordered a variety of food and I was feeling frustrated. I forgot to bring my handphone and I intend to meet Eric to pass his stuff. I borrowed brother's handphone and had been dialing various number to try an error but to no avail. I even called back home and asked mother to check the number but we had some miscommunication. No choice, have to go meet him another day.

Arrived at Kimage abit late. I arrived at 1.30pm. Meet Erwin and relaised he was quite good looking. Fair, boyish looking. Reminds me of Elijah Wood in Lord of the Ring. He was not a chatty person and he asked me what type of perm I wanted. I asked him back and he told me digital perm will be more suitable for me. So begin the long process of my perming. He applied chemicals, wash my hair, cut my hair and roll my hair... all the while i'm reading my magazine. I didn't realise the process was taking very long til I feel that my buttock is aching... After my perm has finished, I took a look and my gosh! It was already 7pm! Sucks! I thought I can took a peek at Richie since his company is located 2 shops away. But his shop closes at 6pm. Anyway, maybe is God doesn't allow me to try peeking at him.

18/9/04

Went to work and was counting down to knocking off. It is because I had a interview with Prettislim for advertisements. I took a trian and was falling asleep til I nearly rested my head on the guy sitting next to me. I feel so paiseh and apologize. I slept til I missed my stops! i had to retake 3 stops away back to Redhill. I nearly went to the wrong direction. Sensing something different, I asked around and realised I had been heading to the wrong direction. I quickly turned back and reached Thong Teck building. I went for the interview and was amazed to find the place was quite empty. It was obvious they rent the area to do their interview. The guy asked me to stand up, stand sideway, back facing him etc and even lifted my blouse to let him see my tummy area. I knew I won't get the job because I told him honestly that I'm with another model agency. Now I understand why Soonshan told me not to sign any contract with modelling agency.. it limits my chance to do freelance modelling. Sucks!

Anyway, i arrived at Orchard rather early. Went to make payments for my Lancome makeover. After that, off to Kinokuniya to read magazines to kill time.

Kelvin arrived first and he meet me in Kino. We both read magazines until Bee called. Meet them in fountain together with maria. We went to Sake Sushi in HMV and we waited for fuckingly long 45 minutes til ah ling arrived. Then we finally managed to grab a seat. We had a feast and I was shocked when the toal bill amounts up to $110. It is because it feels like we never really eat much. Feel a bit heart pain......coz i'm the one promised to give them a treat.. next year i don't intend to treat them anymore... feel abit like they don't really appreciated. Plus no presents from them.. lagi worse.

Went to a cafe near Sommerset and we ordered drinks. They bought brownies plus ice-cream and put candles on it... is a make shift birthday cake... we eat, chit chat til around 12 plus where we share a cab home.

Today is Jason’s last day in our company. I feel kind of loss and lonely after he leave the company. Although I’m not very close to him, he is my superior and taught me quite alot of stuffs... i guess i’m the only one swimming in the ocean and learning to survive on my own since he is not around to guide me anymore...

Was feeling abit frustrated... it was because I was supposed to be meeting Yan they all for KTV but i choose not to join them in the end... it is because I need to fulfill my 15 hours for my part time job... that sucks....

Dance instructor Emma finally came down to our company to take a look at the venue... was intending to held salsa classes and i was a bit surprised to saw quite a well-groomed Emma... she seems like a nice person.. very apologetic and keep on saying sorry and apologizing... Over the phone, she always sound so ‘kan cheong’ that I thought she was quite plump and abit auntie type.. haha... She even hand me a Salsa dance VCD and browsers...

Rushed down to telemarketing job straight away. Stopped by Body Shop for a short while to make payments for Style magazinemakeover. I managed to reach office exactly at 7pm.. while I was signing in, I heard Evelyn shouting to Christina,” Your chiobu come already.” Christina replied,” A problematic type.”.... I was thinking are they refering to me, or did I heard wrongly? While I was making phone calls, I noticed Ronald very seldom come over and teased me.. he will usually did that to me... Anthony came down and spot checked us... he also never give a damn about me.. Feel strange that I was making calls so ‘peacefully’....

Anthony asked Mabelline, Kaz and Evelyn and 3 of them were sitting together and they were discussing something... After a while, they went back to their respective seats and I don’t know why but Kaz keep on looking at me.... hmm...

At around 10pm when is time for us to leave, Mabelline whispered to me that I have to ‘buck up’ for my sales.. i asked her why and she said she will tell me later as it is not convenient...

When we went outside and wait for Alvin, she told me that Anthony told the group that he is targeting me as the next one to be sacked as I cannot fulfilled the 15hour working time. Feel abit pissed off.. I thought my sales was quite average... I worked so hard and I get this treatment? Sucks.. I wanna leave anyway but I’m delaying it because I wanna see the cute guy that shares the same birthday as me -Small Ronald....

Went to have supper with Lydia, Mabelline, Desmond at Lau Pa Sat. Lydia told us Anthony is joining us.. feel so sianz... when he entered the car, he looked uncomfortable and pissed off when he saw me....

When we reached Lau Pa Sat, we have small talk and shared some jokes. Anthony commented that I’m a very ambitious woman as I’m learning driving, working part time. working full time plus studying. From his tone, I can sensed his sarcasm.. i’m not sure whether am I thinking too much...

During supper, I noticed Anthony has a change of impression on me, keep on calling my name, teasing me etc.... anyway I won’t change opinion and decided to leave the job...I’m simply too tired and have no time for part time job.. plus all the stress of being threaten by telemarketing management.....

Alvin drove us home and Desmond dropped off first at Bishan.. whe we were approaching Bishan.. I missed the place and environment so much!! Reminds me of my Poly School Days....

After Desmond alighted, Alvin drove me back home. We chatted and I told them of my intension to leave. They never commented much but I guess this job won’t be suitable for long term anyway...

When Alvin is approaching near to my house, Mabelline asked why I never told Anthony I’m living in semi-detached house.. I replied her why should I let Anthony knows? There is no point letting him know anyway.

Woke my parents up as I forget to bring my keys.... My parents has bought noodles for me but I’m simply too full to eat any.... hence decided to bring it to work for lunch next day.

I think I sleep at around 2am in the morning...super tired!

30/8/04

Got a sudden call from I Models Inc... Told me there is an interview for Sook Hook Rice commercial and my role is to be a secretary.. asked me to go down for an audition.

Flagged down a cab and reached the audition venue-somewhere in Arab Street exactly at 6.30pm. Went inside and saw a quite a well-groomed lady sitting at a sofa.. I guessed she must have come for the audition too....

After 5 mintues later, a quite pretty lady steeped out and is her friend’s turn. I noticed the 2 ladies known each other...  I waited for 5-10minutes and it is my turn soon.

A lady(I suspect she is a brutch) came and I handed her my application form. She asked me to act out as a role fro secreatary and I was given a few sentences to memorise. I was also required to act out a bit..... I took a few retakes and it was done in about 15 minutes time. I had to do a English and Mandrian version for the audition.

Left the audition venue at 6.50pm. Call telemarketing office and told them I will be late. Reached there at around 7.15pm and realized Christina’s face quite black.

Managed to close a case but got reverted back that the previous owner has outstanding bills. Hence I can;t submit the case and it is treated as no case for the day... that sucks...feeling stressed out in my events participation and now this!

27/8/04

We went to Army’s Open House during our Game’s Hour. We were being treated like guinea pigs as I guessed the army wanna test out our response and feedback for their army open house event on September 4 onwards....

We ride in Lester’s car and reached the place at around 2pm. The place is quite ulu but seems quite fun. We managed to do all those ‘hinder station’ such as low-wall, monkey bar, omega bar, flying fox etc. I managed to saw Ben-yckss schoolmate. I went over and asked him whether he is from TCK and he replied he is. I told him I’m Gillian’s classmate and he replied he knows.. he told me no wonder he find me familiar.. he asked me whether ‘m in SAFRA.. i’m stunned by his answer and give a dumb reply, because you are in SAF also mah!

We were divided into 2 teams and we played war games which is similar to laser quest. I only managed to fire few shots as my accuracy is not good plus the weapon is so heavy! We lost in the end.. but it was quite fun anyway...

Chase dropped us off at Jurong MRT and I alighted at bugis around 7.10pm.. rushed to the telemarketing office but it was too late.. when I reach there.. it was 7.20pm and Ronald spoke to me... i have no choice but decided not to work since I arrived so late.....

Called up Bee and went to watch Alien Vs Predator with her... It has been quite a while since I last went out with my friends as I’m so busy coping my part time job, full time job and driving that I don’t even have time for sleep.....

Alien Vs Predator is a crappy show but we did have a good laugh as the show seems comical to us especially when the female lead is helping Predator fighting off with Alien.. hahahaha.....
